The website for Benefits and Allowances has changed to a new website called GOV.UK. The buttons below are set up to take you to the relevant part of the new website, which deals with that particular Benefit or Allowance.  From there you will be able to gather the information you need to help with the application process or just answer a question you may have.

We will endeavour to keep these links as updated as possible and highlight any changes should they occur. If for any reason you find that the links are broken, please advise the office and we will rectify the problem.

There are, of course, a multitude of questions posed on a daily basis and not all are easily answered, so from time to time, if we don’t know the answer, we will find out and get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

We can help you with filling in Welfare Benefit forms such as Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance and Employment Support Allowance, as well as other forms including the Blue Badge if required.

We can also carry out Benefit checks for those clients who require help in assessing their entitlements.

For clients who require it, we are able to give assistance with Appeals and Tribunals.

Not able to attend our offices in Selby?  Don’t worry, by giving us Advance Notice, we may also be able to provide a Home Visit Service.

Due to the outstanding generosity from the community and businesses, we now have Self-Propelled or Push type wheelchairs ranging from a child’s to an extra large, which we are able to offer on short term Hire from our premises.  If you would like to take advantage of this Service, there is an Annual Registration Fee of just £10.00, then the hire cost of £2.00 per 24 hours or part thereof.
